Hey yall- I just put on a new galvanized roof on my cabin. The metal sheets were delivered wet and by the time I got around to separating and installing all of them, some pieces had this chalky looking stuff in streaks here and there. Anyway now the roof is on its kinda noticeable, and Im afraid it might start rusting too early in its young life. (Its up there too–12/12 pitch, bout 32 feet to the ridge) Any body have an idea? I thought about swabbing it somehow with an oily rag or something. Thanks!
