I have been asked to apply p-lam over some existing painted cabinets and replace doors and drawer fronts. Looking for suggestions for applying p-lam and how to price out job. I’ve installed a lot of laminate just not over painted surfaces. Any help will be greatly appreciated.

If you laminate over painted surfaces you will have to use water based contact adhesives. Solvent based ahesives will eat up the paint & become unlaminated.
I charge $18 a square foot to laminate cabinets.
