I am looking for some plastic lumber to make picnic tables out of. They could have a steel frame but I want the top and the seats to be lumber. Looking for plastic for wearability, so cannot deteriorate in the sun. Any ideas?

I sent you via e-mail some suggestions. Why don't you tell us your location and I'm sure you'll get some tips locally. As I have never used anything but a trex like product, I can't make any construction suggestions other than these recycled products many times do not have the structural ability of wood and so your supporting system should be well thought out. Best of luck.
*Thanks, calvinThe place we need the tables is in southwestern missouri if that genrates any specific ideas for anyone out there.
*Jane Previously, I have iniated searches for 'plastic lumber' and got several sights. Some also sold picnic tables already constructed and their prices seemed a little high but within reason.
