Hi, all
I usually hang out over at Knots and I didn’t know where else to turn. I have a water treatment tank under the house with a vent attached to the main drain line. The water is coming out this vent instead of draining to the septic tank. I cleaned out the main line as best I could, but the problem is still there. I will clean the roof vents next. And then if I still have a problem I will have the septic tank drained. How do I get the water out from under my house? Do I need to let the dirt dry before I put down new plastic or just cover it wet?

There are different kind of "water treatment" systems. Systems for filtering, adding cholorine, iron removal systems, and water softeners.
So it would be helpfull if you gave more details include the type and brand of system.
How much water do you have down there? A wet vac will handle small amounts.
And what have you done to verifyt that the both the main drain and the connections of the water treament system drain properly.
Do you get any water when a toilet is flushed or similar.
Can you connect a hose up to this "vent" connection and does the water flow.
.
A-holes. Hey every group has to have one. And I have been elected to be the one. I should make that my tagline.
Have your septic tank checked out ASAP!!!!
I had a similar situation that escalated into a crisis. Turned out that the filter that goes between the tank and the leech feild was so clogged that the water did not flow out to the feild. This caused the tank to fill up and nearly back-up into the house. All the drain lines in the house were filled up and flow was real slow. Slow flow could cause your water treatment backwash to to overflow as you described.
