I’ve got a 2 yr old house that was roughed in for a full bath. The rough in for the Shower/Tub drain is 4 1/4″ from the stud wall, but the Shower/Tub insert we purchased needs to be 7 1/8″ from the stud. Is there a way to connect the shower to the drain without having to break concrete and redo the stub out? The drain in the tub sits 2 3/4″ above the floor. Moving the stud wall really isn’t feasible.
Any advice would be appreciated. Thanks,
John

Nope! Bite the bullet and dig! You will only have problems later on if you try to "force" it to fit.
Nope. Buy a differnt shower insert or go with tile.
