My builder uses PCB pipe for running cold and hot water supply throughout the house. I have the option of having them do copper for $500. Is PCB okay or should I tell them I want copper for $500?

PCB? As far as I know PCB is a poisonous chemical that was (?) used in transformers until the EPA got a hold of the responsible parties.
How about PVC? Is that it?
