Hey all,
Does anyone have any experience with the ready-to-tile prefab shower pans? I’m looking at a product advertised in FHB called Redi-Tile. If their claims are true, sounds like a great alternative to floating a mortar pan, especially in a 60″ long shower. But I’d like to see if there’re any real-world use data out there. Good alternative, or too good to be true?
Thanks
Mickey

I am waiting for responces too!! I have gave this some thought also.
Price, quality, times saved, ......is this a way to go??
I've never used that but have used the Kerdi 60" and liked that a lot. Very simple, excellent result and reasonably priced
Yeah, I had looked at the Kerdi system, but at first glance it looked like it might be as much work as just floating a mortar bed. That's what I liked about the Redi-Tile, its just a one-piece unit - drop it in and you're done (if you can believe their marketing materials, which, truthfully, I'm always a little skeptical of).
