This is just a comment. I just had my window replaced in my house. The contractor ordered the windows and gave me a date when they would be in. They came in right when he said they would and installed them immediately. When He installed them he ordered a small dumpster to put the old windows and trash in. He arrived right when he said he would and He was done promptly and left the site as clean as when he found it. I would and have recommned him to others for any thing and anytime they wanted to hire someone .
On the other hand I came home from work today and my neighbors are having their windows replaced. Their contractor was replaceing the windows and had them scattered all over the street in front of their house. It looked messey and unprofessional. Now this guy maybe the best carp in the world but the way his site looked didnt impress me one bit. He did clean up at the end of the day but just based on the impression he gave me I wouldnt hire him. i know everyone has their own ways of doing things but like I said this is just a comment.

Could be your neighbor took the lower priced guy - the dumpster cost has to be in an estimate.

Nah really bob, the guy i hired was very clean ..couteous and was a long time carp of about 20 years or so. Maybe thats why he's been in business so long.
