Does anyone out there have any recommendations as to a good computer software program for managing a project (Time lines, Budgeting, etc.).
Any help in this matter would be appreciated!

Greg,
Some swear by Primavera (SureTrack or P3). Some really like Microsoft Project. It depends on what you like, what your client wants or how you'll dovetail it into your existing software package. Most PM software vendors offer demo packages free for the downloading. They usually have some features disabled but you can get a feel for what they're like.

Eric,
Thanks for the information. We use Quick Books Pro99 and it would be nice to be able to integrate with it. I am going to try to contact some of the vendors you mentioned. If you know of web sites/phone #as
for any of them or others I would appreciate the help.

Greg:
If it is a fairly straight forward project, MS Project is probably the simplest to learn but is has limitations. Primavera products o the other hand have a fairly steep learing curve. I have used many diferent programs over the past fifteen years for scheduling and find the MS Project the easiest to manage.
*If you want software that integrates with Quick Books Pro, perhaps the people at Quick Books Pro could tell you which, if any, programs do that.Rich Beckman
