There was a cool design for a pullout pantry in the Drawing Board section of the Winter 2000 Kitchen & Baths issue. It consisted of three vertical “drawers” inside of an 18″ x 24″ base cabinet with a door. I really want to make one for our kitchen remodel (in progress) but I’m not too sure how to do it.
Anybody know what type of hardware would work best here and how the pullout shelves and sliding hardware would be fixed to the carcass?

Spencer,
Unfortunately I don't have the issue handy...
Were the three "drawers" side-by-side, as in each being about 6" wide by 24" high?
If what you're thinking is what I'm thinking, think of a standard stack of three 6" high by 24" wide drawers turned on it's side...so now the slides are on the top and bottom. With the bottom slide taking the weight, it needs to be beefed up a bit.
If so, check out the slides offered by WoodWorker's Hardware. Do a search using "pantry" as the key word and click on the offerings just off the bottom of the listing..."Pantry Rollouts."
You may want to check out their paper catalogue, they have a pretty good kitchen selection and their prices are quite good compared to what I can get locally.
I hope that's what you're looking for. If not, sorry I wasted your time.
Regards, Mongo
