I bought a used Craftsman angle framing nailer at a sale, and I need to know who makes it and what kind of nails will work in it.

Ask Sears..........be sure you have the model and serial number... :-)
*As far as I can remember from when I worked at Sears the framing nailers accept nails from Bostich. I may be wrong on this but I do know that the older versions of the nailer were based on the original Bostich model. I am almost positive though that they will accept the Bostich nails. Double check to be sure though. Hope that helps - Nick
*I think Ace is right about Bostich. Stanley owns them now. Try the Sears or Bostich service center. I hope you can still find parts. I bought an old belt sander once just to find out that they don't make one of the main gears anymore.Good Luck,Ed. Williams
*Well, for some odd reason the local lumberyard had some Bostitch nails, and they worked through my gun. The forklift guy had a puzzled expression when he saw 30-odd nails in a scrap chunk of 2x4, but he knows my tendency to do strange things. Thanks for the help, everybody.
*DeVilbiss made MOST of the framing nailers for Craftsman. Craftsman brand nails do not work well in them, though. James
