Just completed the installation of a staple up pex system from Radiantec. Lots of labor but it works great and the company was wonderful to work with. In some areas we put the tubing in the ceiling at 8" o.c. with the aluminum plates right against the drywall. This set up works great and gives us total freedom to choose flooring materials. I measured the temperature gradient to be within 1.5 degrees from floor to ceiling.
What did use for your heat source, and what type of system did radiantec sell you? I have seen there web site and have considered useing them for my own house.
