I want to take a 22′ wide I 38′ section of roof, rafters and all off of a ranch house. Using a crane, pick the roof off the house and set it in the back yard. I want to build all of the exterior walls on the ground and lift them into place with the crane. Then I want to put the roof back on the new walls. I found an article in Finehomebuildings’ Builders library on “Remodeling”, but would love more disscusion on the subject. Especially safety percausions and techniques.
