HO has a “classic” 1970’s contemporary (lots of tall triangles) with vertical 1×4 v-match cedar siding. About half of the siding is now toast. Originally, he contacted me to replace a few whole wall sections and repair some smaller areas, but is now considering residing with horizontal clapboards. His biggest concern is that putting traditional siding on a contemporary styled house will look odd. I’m looking for pictures of contemporary houses with horizontal siding (even if it’s vinyl). Tomorrow, I will get a picture of the house to post here. Thanks in advance
