I have a sun room off with roll roofing that’s about to give up the ghost and as a new homeowner, I’m not sure what my replacement options are.
Does it make sense to stick with the roll roofing? If so, what type/ weight? Can I just roll over the old roofing? If not, any other alternatives suitable for a classic New England home that a DIYer could safely manage?
Many thanks!

What is the slope of the roof (how steep is it)?

The roof has a very shallow pitch, maybe 5-8 deg.

Call a roofer and have him/her show you a "torchdown" roof. - jb

Is this roof visible from ground level or anywhere else that
someone you respect could see it?

LOL. Well, not so much from the ground, but the master bedroom upstairs has a couple of windows that look out onto the sunroom's roof.
(BTW, thanks for all the suggestions ...)
