I’m considering replacing a standard one piece tilt up garage door with a roll-up type. Driveway space is tight here, and it seems there’s almost always a car a couple inches too close to let the door open. So, I’m interested in your experience with makes and models, pros and cons. This is a two car garage.

How much do you want to $pend?
Do you mean roll-up, like the store gates in the mall, or maybe sectional, like 4 panels that raise up against the ceiling? And what material...wood, steel, fiberglass?

I just installed roll up doors on my shop. They are the biggest !@#$ I have every seen. I really thinking about a side rolling or swinging door.
What ever you do keep the mechanisms..
I put my panel saw on a set and when it's not in use I swing it up out of the way against the cieling....
Raynor doors do well and are reasonably well made...
Wayne Dalton, the best of even, are PITA junk... Mostly plastic...

Thanks. I'm getting a bid from the Raynor distributor.

Anaheim Door has a real nice finely detailed sectional. It's one of the nicest I've seen without going custom.
