.I’m building a copper-roofed cupola with copper weathervane on top
of a steel-roofed barn of about 2000 sq. ft. Cupola is about 30 ft.
AGL. Barn will be full of hay and horses and we are scared to death
of lighting. Should the roof be grounded in some way, should we go
for lightning rods like old barns used to, or is there not much to
sweat about?
