How much of a b1$ch do ya’ll think it is if I plan my exhaust duct inside my kitchen cabinets. To the right of my stove will be 36″ Lazy Susan. The *L* portion is the backwall to my house.
I am thinking about running the cabinets flush to the ceiling, and then running the duct inside the top shelf of the cabinet. Once everything is all assemeled, I would close up the top shelf where the duct resides with 1/4″ panel.
Does this idea/layout sound feasiable.

Sounds fine to me; I've seen lots of ducts inside kitchen cabinets, even a furnace exhaust duct up from basement, through kitchen cabinet, through second floor bedroom closet and then out through roof (double walled).
Just keep in mind that longer duct runs and changes in flow direction reduce the flow rate.
Unless your kitchen ceiling height is seven foot or less, I don`t quite understand why you`d hold the cabinets high.......only to lose the top shelf of the cabinet.
Leave a soffet space for the ductwork and finish the soffet to match the cabinets....giving the look of cabinets that rise to the ceiling without losing actual cabinet space.
