We are beginning a new project and need to install a sand filter system. Our county sanitation inspectors are not willing to give us a hand locating the information on designing the system. Is there anyone that knows of an internet site or sites that discuss system design and function? It cannot be all that tough. I’ve had them installed before, but I’m tired of paying what seem to be extreme prices for what I observed to be a relatively simple feature.

Try http://orenco.com Ask for their video. Went through this last year myself and will be doing it again shortly. I'm curious about where you're building as my county is notoriously difficult to work with which as led to only a handful of licensed installers being willing to work here.
