I recently was gifted a regular Milwaukee Sawzall from my father. I’m wondering if Super Sawzall blades can be used in a regular sawzall? Are there any differences between Sawzall blades and Super Sawzall blades. Thanks for the help!

The blades are interchangeable.
*what a nice gift, yes the blades are interchangable. But now I have one to go a little further, In anyone that reads this what are you finding to be the best brand longest lasting demo blade for sawzalls and how do they compare in price to others ? On an average addition remodel we will eat through about 6- 9" demos o tearing into a house. More if we are cutting through a lot of steel other then nails and screws.
*Josh,The Milwaukee Axe demo blade is a real good one,but even better is Dewalt's demo blade and priced in the mid thirties for a pack of 5, not to bad. Both are long lasting and eat through nails with ease.Vince
*I've had good results and longevity with Lenox blades as well.

Thanks everybody for the help. I appreciate it very much.

I had a blade once called the Progresser(I think), it kept going and going, you get the picture. Does anyone know who makes it. Best blade i have ever used. It had a funny tip that help you plunge cut.

*I'ts made by Bosch.
*Tried them all, and dulled them all! DeWalt and Milwaukee Demo blades are good. Progressor(sp?) is good too, nice for cutting/plunging thru old roofs with both wood and metal. Lenox is the best. Cuts thru everything better, and cuts after you dull it longer. More expensive, but better value in the long run, in my eyes. And, a better blade is a safer blade. Jeff
*Gee, you guys don't sharpen yours?? :)If your Sawzall has the plastic no-hexwrench chuck, be careful: if you jam one of the thick blades the chuck will break. I broke two, then Milwaukee cnaged its design so that you can replace it with the metal one -- for $7.
*Shouldn't they be replacing it for free since it's their faulty design? What kind of legalities do we have here Andrew?
