I’m a DIY that built & pre-wired my house for a security system last year. It seems most NC 3/8″ mag contacts are (almost literally) a dime a dozen. Are there any recommendations on which brands/models are the best? Quality internal springs & contacts, consistent signals quality, least false alarms…
Can you help?

Never noticed sissy wire people hanging out here. The 4 i bought at Radio Shack 8 years ago work fine with very heavy use. Not an endorsement just the facts.

*PK,I recently finished a complete burglary / fire / smoke system for an 8000+ ft. home. We did it all with Sentrol equipment and the manufacturers they now own (ESL, etc.). We had a very good experience both with their equipment (from powered shock sensors to heat detectors by way of glassbreak detectors) and their never-hard-to-get-on-the-line tech support. We looked at alot of equipment before selecting Sentrol, too.Aaron
*FWIW: http://www.sentrol.com(another sissy in the market for contact switches)
