SEEKING CONSTRUCTION BUDGET SOFTWARE/SPREAD SHEET ADVICE AND DROID APPS
Hello to all. I am an experiened builder who would rather be walking a job during a record heat wave then be in my climate controlled office in front of a computer or doing paper work. I prefer to plan and schedule my jobs in the morning and again in late afternoon so I can manage my projects in the field the rest of the time. The majority of my work has been Project and Construction Management for other builders – now as a self employed builder/remodeler I find myself sending more of my time on the less desirable tasks such as estimating, book keeping etc…I need to migrate from my paper and pencil ways and use technology to better leverage my time spent on keeping track of job and where the budget stands along the way. As a new owner of the HTC EVO cell phone, I would also appreciate any comments on apps that my be useful in our line of work. Thanks in advance!
