I already tried this; but you see they're on Taunton Time. Things are different up there in NH.
If the server is running, that's enough. I hope you'll all be logged in at midnight Dec. 31 for Y2K.
*YANKEEDAM WAIT! Please don't give them any ideas! Last time the site went down for 10 days, three hours and (roughly) 41 minutes! We all had to talk to our wives and cut firewood and such. It was dreadful. The site is kinda workin', leave well enough alone! - jb

things are different here in CT (why NH, andrew? did we betray the impression of ones living tax-free or dying?)
i always meant to consult with my UNIX admin buds as to why our UNIX time is off... will investigate, and prob. end up bludgeoning the whole board down for good.

Sean,
at least it's not NT....

*Tax free? CT? (Whoo boy, that was a good one.)Must have been a tax-supported TV spot Andrew saw.Governor Roland on the tube: "Come to Connecticut..."We're all "up North" to those Dixie types anyway.Ya'll are south of the Mason-Dixon ain'tcha Andrew?
*NT? Which state is that?(State of ... misery?)
*I was thinking of the town of Taunton -- used to live in Boston. But now that i know you're it CT, it all makes sense... CT is just a suburb of NYC, right? Plus a college town or two. :)Ignore your Unix geeks, get your own time from the net. Or you could ... TYPE IT IN YOURSELF!But I agree with the sentiments above. If it ain't (seriously) broke, don't fix it.
*Don't let Ed see this, cause to him "NT" is sure to mean a foriegn country...you know "Not Texas"! :-) - jb
*NT is Microsoft for "Nice Try"
