HELP!! I’ve been racking my brain trying to remember the formula for figuring out the proper size of pipe to feed a natural gas appliance. I think it’s figured in something per foot run at an average of 7 psi and then you’re supposed to figure in any turns dips and rises maybe? The appliance in question is a sealed 0 clearance fireplace with a circ. fan and built-in thermostat. The only requirement given in the spews that relates to the gas is, ” 4″ W.. “. Thanks.
