I picked up a Skil 5510, 5 1/2″ circular saw saw about nine months ago. It’s gotten only occasional use on less than a half dozen projects since I purchased it.
I started noticing the motor acting up yesterday. I checked the brushes and decided to replace them, after that it was as good as new. It seems to me that I didn’t get a lot of use out of it before I had to replace the brushes. I’d like to think that was a fluke and I’m not going to have to replace the brushes every few times I use it. Has anyone had any problems or similar experiences with this saw?
Thanks.
