A few months ago I had a supplier/manufacturer send me literature on a product that you can spray in a mold (with I believe an airless unit) that after a number of heavy coats, it cures like solid surfacing material. It looks and feels like solid surfacing. I had no need for the info and pitched it. I now have a client that has a need for this type of material. Does anyone know who makes this stuff or who handles it. Thanks

Sounds more like a cultured marble. When I was in Texas I focused on nothing but solid surface installations for 3 years. I'm a certified fabricator in all the major brands. Been to the factories and watched it made. Solid surface material is poured in forms, put under high pressure and baked. Cultured marble is poured and left to dry. The density and working properties are very different. I suggest you handle and inspect this new material before you get involved. Good luck, Bill Swales
