Anyone have a source for 36×66 shower base? www.marbletrend.com.au has one but they’re in Australia. A low sill height (13″) tub would be OK. Cast iron preferred. Acrylic second.

Hi Rick,
Try calling Accent Manufacturing at 330-724-7704. They are in Akron, Ohio and can make a shower base any size. Shipping cost may or may not be a problem, but I'm sure they could refer you to someone closer to you if it is. They do nice work-I've used them on many custom jobs. Tell them John Svenson refered you. I don't have an e-mail for them so you'll have to use the old phone. Hope this helps. John

Rick:
Try American Shower and Bath. They have a web site. I just got a replacement shower base for a unit that I bought over three years ago and just got around to starting the install.
They were straight up with me and honored a warranty on a unit that was manufactured by a company they bought out two years ago. Their former name was Plastico. I am almost positive they have a 36 x 66 base. It will be reinforced structural fiberglas. They may have other lines which include iron or acrylic.
