I cope with my dental crown by chewing my Grape Nuts on the other side.
I agree with Roger. There are some crown profiles that are just too complicated to cope well. Often an angle of less than 45° is needed. Try to bisect the angle so that you have ####good fit all the way through, glue it and don't drive nails right in the corner, let it float.
