Just when we thought we had decided to go with oil instead of propane for heat for our new home, we heard from several HVAC guys bidding on the job that we should seriously consider propane heat. I’ve searched this site and gotten some valuable advice but I’m wondering if anyone knows of some good web sites that could help us in making this decision. Since this is our last home and the first that we are building ourselves, we want to make a intelligent and lasting decision. WE know that we are going to use propane for our cooking, bar-be-que and gas fireplaces. Should we go ahead and use propane for everything? When you take into account cost and efficency and simple cleanliness, which comes out on top, oil or propane?
