Would appreciate advice/recommendations on closers for a 1 3/4″ storm door. I’ve built a jamb to accommodate two exterior door slabs with the outside, full view glass unit, being a “storm door”. Now that I’ve rid myself of the cheap aluminum (aluminium in Moosehead Land) storm door I’m tempted to live without the huge pneumatic closers. Are there alternatives? Will one heavy duty hydraulic closer do the job of two medium duty pneumatics? This is all built and assembled so re-engineering this one is out, but will consider options for the next one as well as bolt on solutions for this first one.
