I have metal gutter with this expensive water proof caulk that is leaking. A friend told me that it was because it cracked in the cold weather.
Is there a product someone might suggest to fix this issue?
Thanks.

They make a special sealant just for that purpose. Alumax has some sort of "Pro" formula sealant in addition to their standard stuff, for example. It's pretty good, but I find that PL polyurethane roofing sealant is even tougher for this application.
Make sure the joint is adequately riveted or screwed as well.
Thanks SO much
