I was on a job site yesterday and saw a contractor take some “stuff”out of a can and smear it directly onto OSB. It looked like stucco, sure went on easy, in no time he had an exterior wall “stucco’d”. The OSB was part of a SIP (structural insulated panel) Job site was restricted, part of a 10 million dollar home (rumor, not confirmed). It was done on the dormers up in the roof as well as a wall above the roof line.
Anyone know what that stuff was? Is it a good durable product? What can you tell me?

Never heard of it, never seen it . Might be the STO glue used to apply the styrafoam? Or maybe scratch coat mix?
*I followed a link posted somewhere on this board for some stuff called Grailcoat. The website said you could go straight over osb (maybe I'm not remembering this right). Search Grailcoat
