I like the idea of having plywood for a subfloor in a basement, but one thing would worry me. I would be a little concerned of mold growing in between the vapor barrier and the concrete floor. I’m sure a dehumidifier would help delay, but not prevent an inevitable problem.

I stumbled upon a company called Cosella Dorken while doing some research for basement flooring, and wanted to know if anyone out there has any knowledge of, or experience with a product of theirs called Delta-FL. Part of the basement is already finished with a vapor barrier and 2x4 pt sleepers, with rigid insulation between sleepers, and 3/4 tg plywood over everything.
There is no problem with leaks, and the "plastic taped to the concrete floor" test showed no problems at all, even with the heavy spring rains over the past few years.
I'd appreciate any comments, pro or con, and if you want to check out their advertising, it's at...
