Hi,
I am looking for a source of decorative (but strong)wire fencing(app.36″ high) to be used in place of balusters to enclose a loft. The railing is to be restored mahogany hand railing from a passenger ferry. And the posts are part of the timber frame. I am wondering about thick-wired brass “chicken wire” fencing or hardware cloth. Anyone have any sources or suggestions for use? I am hoping to maintain the loft’s airy feel without getting into the jail cell feeling with a hundred balusters.
