I’m renovating two apartments in my home, including paint removal on some nice wood trim. After weeks of mixed success with evening paint stripping (I’ve been telling people I work nights as a stripper) I’m ready to try a new solution. I’d like to remove the trim and run the stock through a tabletop planer (Like Home Depot’s $299 13″ Rigid).
i Can this planer resurface painted wood, or failing that, is it up to resurfacing the obverse unpainted/unplaned side of the trim? I’m looking at 23 windows and 20 doors.
Is there a better planer at a similar or lower price?
