JLC Live Expo in Portland, OR this weekend. 2.5 hours south of me. Question is, it will be very hard for me to slice out the day to go to it, so exactly how good are these things? Am I going to miss out big, or is it just another Expo show? If any of you have attended one of these in the past, I would appreciate some sort of idea. Again, it’s only the Expo portion of the event, so…
Thanks.

I've been to columbus, oh the last two yrs for the show(2 hrs away). Took in some of the intensives and seminars. Spent a couple days each time. I would go again. Good deals on tools, the floor clinics are worth it, new to you products with pretty good information available. You should come away with some free stuff if you use Bryan Klakamp's tactics. They give away plenty of useful things after the clinics. I would recommend it. Arrive early, plan your clinic time so you get a good seat and don't miss out on those of interest to you. Remember, write it off in april as continuing education.

I've gone to the Providence show the last coupla years; I plan my schedule to accodate at least 2 days, last year I went for 3. Each time I brought back a different nail gun; the deals are great. Tools aside, the clinics are outstanding and the seminars are great, usually packed out. Well worth your time and effort.
I'd recommend the show as well. I've moderated sessions at the last two Providence shows, and also given clinics on the show floor. Lots to learn- business and craft related.

It's worth the time.
You'll see stuff you'll never see at home doing the same-ol-same-ol every day.
Products that you won't see if you don't go.
No Nekkid Lady calendars though..........:(
