hi i have an mk370 exp tile saw… it is next to impossible to cut tile on this thing. the rails stick on you and you litterally have to be arnold to cut a tile. tried quite a few types of oils… NO idea on how to make this thing work better. ANY thoughts would be greatly appreciated.

On my saw the rail on the left is a tube, the right- a pc of straight bar the the plate wheel rides on. If I push with my left hand and hold the tile with the right, no bindage. Use both hands to push the plate and it is stiff.

I found that the sliding table was very prone to binding if I pushed on the wrong side. Push only on the side that has the tube, not the rail side.

I'm not familiar with that particular saw. But oil would cause the grit to stick, hampering smooth operation. I think it would be better to wash all oil off of and out of the rollers.
I have the same problem. Napa auto parts sells silicone gel lube in a tube. I grease the round tube with this stuff, work the slide and wipe the excess off. Works great.
Maybe the problem is because it is an MK. I have never liked their saws. The quality is below par but they still charge almost as much as a good quality saw.
I have 2 saws, an old Target saw and a newer Felker. Both are excellent machines.
The Target is about 21 years old and still runs like a champ.

*note to self: cross MK370 off wishlist for 2nd, more compact tile saw*
