Does anyone know the best way to nest tile into a wooden grid? If you have FHB Annual Issue On Houses… summer 1997 issue No. 109 page 105 has one pictured. I don’t see any grout lines. I’m guessing that cement backer board was not laid down so can thin set be spread on 3/4 t&g? Can anyone help suggest a good way to do this?
