All,
I am in the market for a tile saw but I do not want to buy the $99.00 special at HD or Lowes or pay full retail price (who does?). Where do you get the best deals, if such a things exists? BTW, I would like to get an MK 770 either reconditioned or new.
Thanks,
dlb

Dale I just saw your thread. I dont know how long it was here but Ill go ahead and give my opinion. I bought my 770 at tool crib of the north(amazon) they have recon ones but the price difference isnt that much for a new one and If they still do it would through in a mk stand for it. Since its not in my state I didnt have to pay tax just shipping which was about 6 bucks, that might be free now... check it out

I also got the stand , and an 80 dollar kit of stuff free. No tax either. I had went to the tile supply and they couldnt touch the deal.

MK sells direct, and cheaper than you can get a Tool Crib or Home Cheapo...Do a google search of MK and it will pop up.

Hi Dale,
Try AJ&B for the saw. They have a web site (http://www.ajandb.com) and beat Tool Crib's price on my MK-101pro (with blade, cutting kit, stand and free shipping) by $50.
Try Patriot Diamond ( http://www.patriotdiamond.com) for blades - I've been happy (so far) with the one blade that I have purchased from them.
I'm not a tile pro by any means, but I figured that having my own saw for the 2,000 sq ft of concrete paver bricks and basement/bath tile would save me $$ in the long run.....

All,
Thanks for the input. I will follow the leads as there does not seem to be much discounting going on with tile saws these days.
