What seems to be a fair price to install tile in a home? I have a customer i work with that has a home he would like me to tile but as you can probably guess its not what I usually do for people. I am a hardscaper by trade and do patios driveways and the like but now it is winter and I have worked for this guy before and he trusts me but wants a qoute and I could use the money. I do not want to do the job for free but am not looking to rob the guy either I have done tile at home and for my father but have never kept track of the time because I was not billing the jobs so I have little basis on which to formulate a price. I will be using to of my guys to help so I really need to make a good guess as if I am wrong it could end up costing more than i make. Any ideas? the homeowner already has the concrete board down and has purchased the tile whick is natural stone not ceramic so that means a little more work I understand. thanks for any help.

when in doubt ... a trip to the local home depot can help.
they usually list their install per ft prices along side the prices of various flooring.
their listed prices are the basic prices ... for a beginner matching them should be a wash.
