Assuming DWS means "drywall screws", I'd say use cabinet screws. Cabinet screws have a large pan head, and are made of better metal. Drywall screws are made of pot metal that can easily snap off. Also the heads require a counter sink predrilling or else you run the risk of splitting the cabinet wood. If you feel you must use this type of screws, use deck screws. They have much more shear strength.
Other than that, was it as good for her as it was for you? (her = your new toy... er, I mean tool). I can't wait to put my sweaty palms on a similar model...
I thot DW screws were made specifically for hanging heavy wall cab's?
no??

I aint building no weight watchers access ramp!
And 2-1/4" are short enough so I am sure not to hit any wires or pipes that might be hiding in the walls.
Also, the reason they are called drywall screws, is that they hold really well if you miss a stud or three and just hit the drywall!Mr T

If you use the DW screws don't forget to leave the instructions in the cabinets.

I am curious if you used fine or coarse threads and were they the jet black ones or the lighter shade of black ones?
Don't you know you can catch STD if you screw in bathrooms.....

Is that sorta like when two parakeets screw without protection and one gets cherpies?

Actually, when two pair of keets get together, you've got a quorum for the forum, if all four keets are agreed that SR screws are for drywall.

If not, you have too.... It's in The Book ;)The Count-Down begins, 82 days left
Actually, I considered just holding the remains of the drill up to my temple, suicide style, and putting a 1 1/2" fostner bit hole in it. I would have too - 'cept my drill was broke. :-)>Kevin Halliburton
