tweaker vs fubar for twisted studs…

I have had a vision of many twisted studs in my not so distant future and I want to get either a tweaker http://www.mayhew.com/products/tweaker.htm or a fubar
the fubar seems a little hokey, and roughly twice the cost… but I am wondering if it is twice the utility….
It would fit nicely next to the bfh…..
I am going to be ripping a bunch of PT decking off a deck as well, and was thinking about one of the spiffy high leverage demo bars…
this looks spiffy, and according to the website, it is great…

I have the tweaker, works well, fits in the bags when needed but is to heavy to lug around all the time.
I think you would get more leverage out of the FUBAR, but I've never really run into a problem with the tweaker.
I like the FUBAR's name though and it looks bad ####, fitting name to for what it can do.
I saw one something like the two you posted at Lowes. Made by Stanley and cost $40.00....
I'm building a two story shed with some culled lumber, but couldn't justify even that cost...So, I came home and got out my medium size "Pipe Wrench". Worked great.

Same deal here - I couldn't justify the expense, so I used my channelocks. It seemed to do the trick for 2x4's, although a pipe wrench would probably have been easier (no need to squeeze handles together while holding it straight).
I has some badly twisted studs, so while in the process of tweaking, I blocked them on either side top & bottom to hold them straight.
Don't know much about the fubar, but for removing the decking boards I've found that a common 2x4x8 works better than any of the wrecking bars I've seen. Once you get the first board up just wedge it in and angle it across the joist and pry.
NO matter how you do it, its not a whole lotta fun!
Good luck, dug
I made one. got some square tubing. I think it was 2 inch tubing,, welded a old cheater handle to the tubing. pipe will work and then torch the opposite side of tubing out..Most hated person on the net

I dunno. maybe it's just me, but I would never buy anything named "Effed Up Beyond All Repair"
