I’ve got a 20′ R barrel roof over an eyebrow dormer, and we’ll roof it with seamed copper sheets.
My Cu roofer cannot get to me until after labor day, but we’ll want to dry things in before then. Is I&WS appropriate as an underlayment?
Also, I am presuming the Cu roofer will want to go over my underlayment at copper time with resin paper. Something about tinning. Right?

Right, and right. AFAIK, GreenCu will be back in a few days.
If they want to solder the flat seams ( not needed if it has enough slope) the rosin paper keeps the tar from getting melted into the joint, and provides a "slip sheet" betwix the two.
