I’m wanting to sheath the vaulted ceiling of my family room in wood.  Wondering if anyone, rather than custom milling, has seen a 1×6 C & Better in something other than southern yellow pine.  Looking for some thing relatively clear so i can do a simple wash coat w/o looking too “rustic” or “cabin” like.  Lower New York State/ Danbury CT area.  Maybe a “cheap” flooring?  Any input would be appreciated.
