Has anyone used this new item? Like most (all?) Wagner stuff it looks like a homeowner item. I have an upcoming project where I need to repair a small hallway and kitchen ceiling with texture. Not enough to get anyone to come in and do it. Too much to try to blend in by hand. This looks like it might do the trick.
Any other ideas? I do not intend to do much of this kind of work at any time later. Will probably go by HF tomorrow to see alternatives.

what type of texture?
do you have a compressor?
Popcorn, have Hitachi twinstack and a big Craftsman 30gal that I could take over to job both should do the job. I have not checked with the small rental place in town or asked my buds who build but they usually sub out this stuff. For a hundred investment I don't mind if it is worth a cra*.
I do mostly remodel and repair so the use may come up later.

You can buy a hopper for 70 0r 80 dollars since you already have the compressor. It's good for a long time with minimal maintenance. if you don't want to buy, rent the hopper or rent the texture compressor with hopperEither way you will be way ahead of the wagner

Thanks. Kind of way I was leaning. I am just accumulating so much of this type stuff I am running out of room. One of my larger contractor buddies says "don't but it if you can rent it, don't rent it if you can borrow it". I reminded him that he was my prime borow source, he did not mind as I always bring things back as good or better.
Will take a look tomorrow. This is the kind of item I do not have a problem considering Harbor Freight for. Need to fill a gas bottle and will go to the local rental yd.
Thanks again, Bob
Update, bought a cheapie hopper at HF for 19.99, talked to a guy there who does pretty much same type work as I do and he said it should spray ceiling ok. Would not go into texture business with it but no big risk here. Thanks for the input.
