Just finished framing up an addition at my home before the rains came. The roof is scheduled for next week. Sheathing is up and tarps are drapped but some rain is finding its way in and getting the OSB flooring wet and starting to puddle in spots. How much water can this stuff stand before it starts to delaminate?

Is it Advantech brand? That can take quite a bit. But go by immediately after the rain and broom off as much water as you can.
Whenever you are asked if you can do a job, tell'em "Certainly, I can!" Then get busy and find out how to do it. T. Roosevelt

It cant take to much water can cause a lot of problems down the road. One thing we do is spray on sealer if we expect rain right away. The sealer really helps out .We havent had any delamination since we started using it. we buy it in 5 gal and use a pressure sprayer. hope this helps.

We build in the Pacific Northwest and let me tell you it gets wet here in the winter. We haven't had a problem with wet OSB since we used it when it was brand new to the market (at least 15 and closer to 20 years ago). The product is much more advanced now and handles being wet better now. If it gets wet during construction and dries out, you'll be fine (in your time frame). What you don't want to happen is to have a leak under a shower or something and let the OSB get and stay moist for a period of time, but I think that in that case plywood isn't much better.
There are thousands of homes built in WA state every year that do just fine. Obviously you don't want wet OSB if you can help it, but if it's exposed for a few weeks, you'll be fine.
I'm still trying to get Advantech because there are no problems at all, but I'm still waiting . . . .
