Caleb, I have started using a water based varathane.Diamond finish. It brushes on nice, sprays equally well and as of yet ( about 6 mos on kitchen cabinets that I made and a laundry room under sink cabinet) it hasnt yellowed. I just used some on some maple base board that I made for a bathroom facellift.Good luck hope I helped

I've got some nice wood windows I need to finish (interior only). I want to stay with a clear finish. Any suggestions on the best finish. I'm looking for something that will allow dust, dirt etc to be wiped off, and that won't yellow over time.
