We are doing a quickie wall paint job on a simple rental property and would like to use a color that will hide dirt the best. Flat sheen will be used to hide imperfections in the drywall and future touch ups, but we’re not sure on the color. We’re thinking an off-white or light beige, but would be open to suggestions. Be brand and color specific if possible. Thanks!! |

Navajo White, a light tan, is the traditional color. Nowadays, the fashion has shifted toa cool white such as Cielo Blanco. Use a gloss or semi-gloss enamel in the kitchen and bathroom. As for hiding dirt, a pattern would be most effective and wallpaper is the way to achieve this.

. . . . ask Tim Mooney - he'll write you a book !
I say "Landlord White" aka Antique White. Use the same brand, the same sheen, the same mix, and you can paint one wall and leave the other three, and nobody can tell which one is fresh.
