I am going to buy a HVLP 4 stage turbine at the Ontario woodworkers show tomorrow.
The have the Turbinaire, the Apollo and the Accuspray to choose from. They all cost about the same. Some poo poo the amount of “o” rings and seals in one gun, others the “spray quality” , hose diameter, etc. 1 year, 2 year and 5 year warrenties, made in Canada, San Diego, or San Climente, 3/4 vs 5/8 hose diameter.
Any thoughts our there from those who use these? I will post in the Drywall and finishes forum also.
Thanks for any assistance in making this choice.

As for the "San Clemente" manufacturer, I think you are talking about Complaint Sprays Systems. They are a distributer for Accuspray. I have purchased a 4 stage from them about 3months +/- ago. Very knowlegable. Also try "Homestead Finishing". there is alot of posts about Jeff and his company on the Knots side of Taunton. Compliant Spray Systems tends to be at alot of shows.
I have the 2045 TNR(quiet) that has a built in compressor for the pressure pot. No complaints with it at all. The "show special" usually comes with a 1 pint cup attachment that uses pressure form the turbine hose to pressurize the little 1 pint pot.
One of the things that I really like about the 4 stage Accuspray is that air does not come out of the tip/nozzle until you pull the trigger. The old style has continuous air flow through the nozzle/cap even when the trigger wasn't pull. This still might be the case on the 3 stage versions, and/or other brands.
While you at the show, take a look at the Kreig jigs
I already have three Kreg jigs. Two of the old metal kind and one of the new K-3's.You are right about the company that is repping Accuspray.Kirk
I would love an update after you purchase.
I have been in the market for a couple years but have never pulled the trigger because any info on actual performance is spotty.
I'll be watching.Remodeling Contractor just on the other side of the Glass City
So far it is working well. It rolled right into my house and is sitting there, not tipping over! :-)Kirk
