So I’m looking at my new pressure tank, planning installation, and I see this little white two-pronged fitting inside the inlet nipple.  Looks to let water pass through some kind of baffle, and I’m assuming it is meant to stay there rather than coming out before installation–but I don’t know and would rather know for sure before I go any further.  Installation book give no clue, and I’m 60 miles from point of purchase.  Brand name is H20 from Menards.  Thanks, guys.
